Why Justin Bieber Didn't End Up With Selena Gomez?

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez's love relationship was extremely popular with fans for much of the 2010s. The fans called the love couple "Jelena", and believed that they would definitely get married in the end, even if they were on and off for many years. However, the couple's relationship was called off for good in 2017.

"Justin and I were friends for a long time. I met him when I was really young and he was one of my best friends. Everyone knows that at a certain point in time that turned into something else, but that just happens when you're 18, 19. It was what it was." That was what Selena told the press in 2018. And it was when Bieber went on to marry model Hailey Baldwin.

Fans were madly curious to know why exactly Bieber choose Baldwin after breaking up a long-term relationship with Gomez. And nobody stands out to say anything but we still can figure out something, especially for a marriage relationship.

Take your own time and focus on yourself.

We all know that a healthy relationship is based on two healthy individuals being together. People tend to grow and learn more about themselves with each relationship. And it seems this was the case for Bieber.

In an interview in early 2020, Bieber shared that he tried to do things differently with Baldwin than he did with Gomez. "In my previous relationship, I went off and just went crazy and went wild, just was being reckless. With Hailey, I took the time to really build myself and focus on me, and try to make the right decisions and all that sort of stuff." Said Bieber.

When we were young and immature, we would fall all ourselves for first love. You will go crazy and wild, and there will be temptations all the way. That's why many people do not marry their first love, because they were too young. But when we learned from previous experiences and decide to make decisions like adults, just like Justin Bieber, we have the ability to commit to love.

 

Real love can make each other happier.

A healthy love relationship should bring happiness to both, especially when it is a lifetime true love. Because you have to live with him/her for a lifetime. I believe that happiness was there for Jelena, but there might be more sorrow and bitters.

Gomez once said about her relationship with Bieber, "You're in a phase of life where you experience love for the first time, and I think that can just be just a little toxic. You have this codependency that you think is love, and then you have this addiction to the passion and the frustration with each other that you think, 'Oh, that's love', or fight or doing all this stuff, 'Oh that's love,' and I believed that for a long time."

For his part, Bieber also admitted he was not the best partner in the world. He looked back on his life in a post on Instagram and said that he was "disrespectful to women" and "abused all of my relationships." 

As we can see, the young couple did things or didn't do a thing, which isn't the right way to love each other or love themselves, that gave the irreparable harm to each other. Their many times breaking up and getting back together also prove that they didn't receive enough sweetness and happiness in the relationship but enjoyed the beauty of heartbreak and misunderstood it as love.

 

A commitment to marriage isn't all about love

Young and active love is the reason we attract each other, but the passion won't last long. When we consider if we are going to step into marriage, we must know what is the marriage meaning, and if we prepare to make a commitment to lifetime true love. And when you do, the proposal will be like, "sudden."

This is just like when Bieber proposed to his girlfriend Baldwin. He offered up a sizable oval unique engagement ring during their trip to exclusive Bahamian resort Baker's Bay. Somebody said it was sudden, but I think Justin always knew that Hailey was the one. 

Baldwin once said that she has known Bieber since she was very young, about 13 years of age. And the couple has always existed as good buddies over time. Since they reconnected and got together, they have been inseparable. Unlike his past with Gomez, Bieber and Baldwin had a close and not-interrupt space and time for themselves. There are no other rumors or affairs that get in the ways of their marriage.

So there he was, going into a jewelry store to shop a diamond ring for his partner. He was completely considered, and he was not the young fella he used to be. He chose the best gift for girlfriend, which is not just a custom engagement ring, but also his mature signature of life - the responsibilities to family.
